Brian BlaQ’s DJ career goes back over a decade, where his talent impressed many. Such talent that focused on the deep house scene. His fortune to amplify the music industry included professional careers as a representative at SoulCandi Records and such radio stations with masters at the Boston Media House’s Voice of Soweto.

He’s not only known for his DJ skills or event organization, he is also popular on Vinny Da Vinci’s Deep Soul Sessions. To date he has joined the newly formed Jozi Maboneng Radio which broadcasts from the Maboneng Precinct. Such emphasis on Brian Blaq’s legendary musical achievments collates with 2lani The Warrior who started his own record label Do It Now Recordings, where Brian is to date the label’s manager.

He’s well-known at The Warm Up Jozi Sessions, and as an exceptional achievement released his first CD compilation known as Mechanix of House Volume 2 and then his first official production with Soulcandi Deep House Chronicles Volume 10.
Drawing inspiration from an array of individuals he has created a mash-up of his influences to master a unique and exclusive sound. Brian Blaq has also ventured into a number of remix projects, and he always inspires to continue to work on new music and pioneer a niche within the deep house circles.

Accomplished DJ and label owner, 2Lani The Warrior, typifies a new generation of talented twenty-first century South African electronic dance music creatives. His approach to track selection, whether building a DJ set in real time or discovering tunes for release on his labels, draws heavily on diverse musical influences.

Formative years spent in the warm embrace of the finest jazz, soul and reggae tunes, alongside more locally-originating sounds, lends 2Lani’s work an uncommon richness and eclecticism. The common thread linking everything is the man’s desire to transmit emotion from recording to audience.

A real innovator bringing real music to real people, 2Lani is recognized for thoughtfully constructed and uniquely moving DJ sets, and while deeply rooted in his proud African heritage, his music choices are outward-looking and accessible to the most discerning worldwide audiences.

C_hB was born out of a conviction never to be common.

Casper Rabie is a DJ/Producer that has crafted a very unique sound, with an early passion for House music that stems from growing up in the Johannesburg underground club scene during the mid 2000’s.

Being involved in the industry one way or another for the past 11 years and also having recently established the Slow Sessions Podcast, a deep electronic music curation of some of the best selectors and producers from S.A and abroad, he now aims to keep pushing his love for music into the local scene and looks forward to sharing his interpretation of music.
