Publishing – We print predominantly children’s fiction and adult non-fiction books – both of which are rich in images and/or illustrations. Whilst these ha
ve been our core publishing focus, we are open to expanding this range to include other areas of interest. Apparel – Initially we supplied tourist-orientated t-shirts, caps, hats, and Falke socks. However, our range is diversifying and will soon include fashion and jewellery suited for both local and tourist markets. Souvenirs – Traditionally Art Publishers served the inbound South African tourism market. Our product range still includes calendars, tableware, magnets and pin badges. We are also the largest single supplier of postcards in South Africa. Product Conception and Creation – Our intention is to produce items that are both designed and manufactured in South Africa. We have our own in-house design team and photographer, and so we are equipped to create our own range of products, as well as customise items for unique and specific requirements and brands. Our factory in Durban manufactures some of our range, including our tableware and souvenirs. This means we are able to quickly deliver on products to suit consumer demands and trends. Distribution – We are an established channel to market. With distribution centres in Cape Town and Johannesburg, we service over 1500 retail outlets throughout the country - with products generated within Art Publishers as well as on behalf of third parties. This is done through our national sales and merchandising team. Images – Due to our constant need for high quality images on our products, Art Publishers has a vast collection of photographs. We have created an online library of these, where companies and individuals can browse and purchase usage rights. Alongside our own photographs, we also upload the work of other photographers. Using our established business-to-business reputation and experience as a foundation for expansion, Art Publishers is active in generating new business ideas and ventures.
