Yhazz, this was never just an event. It was the beginning of a journey towards intentionality. Our God is intentional.

This morning I woke up thinking about a no of people who wish to celebrate their Moms on Mother’s Day, but can’t, not because their moms have passed away but because there is no relationship.

Many have tried to mend those relationships but reached a dead end.

I must say, starting is important but finishing requires perseverance. You may have started the process of reconciliation or you’re thinking about it, don’t give up.

Sometimes one person is ready while the other is not, one is still hurting, confused, fearful or resistant.

Many people start the process but become discouraged because things are not improving quickly.

Some relationships are too broken for human strength alone.

A relationship that struggles during healing does not always mean failure.

Having journeyed with Jelly Beanz over the years, it was truly special to witness the launch of Healing Hearts finally come to life. ♥︎

What a meaningful and needed initiative - one that promises to bring healing, support and hope to so many children and families.

My prayer is that we all rise to the occasion and become torch bearers of light within our respective communities… choosing to protect, nurture and create safe spaces for our children.
