Howzit guys.
Today is a touchy topic.
Is it a good idea to leave polish on your Car, Taxi, Bike or Bakkie?
Please remember this is my opinion and not the law.
So I will give you my personal views as a detailer.
Just three points and yes there are others.
First of Polish is not designed to be left on any painted surface for extended time.
Secondly once the polish is over dry it can become more difficult to remove, making you use more pressure and increasing the risk of scratching.
And the third and in my opinion the most important... DUST will go and sit on and in that polish, when it comes to removing that polish that dust becomes sandpaper!
It adds no extra benefit by leaving it on the vehicle, no extra protection.
So my honest opinion as a detailer NO it is a very bad Idea to leave polish on and use the vehicle before it is removed...
Unless the goal is to have a lot of Swirl marks and scratches.
We will in the near future visit polishing, hand and machine.
