Om 'n Christen te wees is om soos Christus te wees. Op een of ander manier moet ons ons lewe verloor om dit te vind. Die Christendom verkondig nie net 'n gekruisigde God nie, maar ook gekruisigde mans en vroue. Galasiërs 6:14. Daar is geen dissipelskap sonder die Kruis nie. Ek is nie 'n volgeling van Jesus as ek net saam met Hom in Betlehem en Nasaret, Judea en Samaria woon en in Sy voetspore wandel nie, en nie ook in Getsemane en op Golgotha nie.

Jesus Christ calls the feet of the Bride, beautiful!
Isaiah 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace; that brings good tidings of good, that publishes salvation; that says unto Zion, Thy God reigns! KJV
The Hebrew is na’ha and it does not mean pretty, cute or beautiful – it actually means, befitting, becoming or perfectly appropriate, suited for every circumstance or place where she is needed in His service. Fashioned perfectly to fulfill her calling
In Christ, the New Creation Bride is more than equipped to put her feet on the neck of a defeated enemy and to carry forth the Good News to the rest of the world and the rest of the Bride still imprisoned and shackled by sin and the flesh.

A wounded bride’s feet might still be covered by shoes that are not befitting the beautiful feet of the Bride. Shoes that hurt, scar and mangle, shoes that are ill-fitting, designed to protect, cover and hide. It is bad news that it seems that the world is being held captive by sin. The conquered enemy deceives the Bride. He keeps her busy by keeping her feet bound. He keeps her tied up by rejection and her reactions to it, wounded and broken. Not knowing her true identity. Not walking in freedom, as sons and daughters of the King, not living a Kingdom life, a Shalom-life of victory.

When the Israelites circled Jericho they were commanded by God to do it in SILENCE. But then, there came a time to SHOUT! And to blow the horn! Know your season. Submit your voice to Holy Spirit and He will speak through your mouth, eyes and hands. Use your voice - whether it is through music, dance, art or dialogue and proclaim Christ’s victory on the cross. He bought us eternal SHALOM. Be the Holy carriers of this Good News and let it run over your lips, as the Holy Spirit leads. Sometimes a gentle stream, sometimes a mighty river, sometimes a powerful wave. He conducts and we comply. Silence is golden, but also the Holy ROAR of the only Truth. A pure, undiluted stream. Surrender the gates of your voice- your lips, your mouth to the purifying coal of Holiness.
