PUTFONTEIN SAPS INVESTIGATES CASES OF MURDERS

ISSUED FROM THE OFFICE OF THE PUTFONTEIN SAPS STATION COMMANDER LT COLONEL NGONYAMA LR

The police in Putfontein are investigating cases of murder following the shooting incident in Mogoba village that occurred in the early hours of Monday morning.
The members of Putfontein saps patrol van were summoned to a scene in Mogoba where a 36 year old african male was found lying unconscious on the ground and he was declared dead by the paramedics.
The deceased had a bullet wound on the upper body and a spent cartridge was found not far from where he was lying.
In a separate incident, a 41 year old woman was shot and killed on what is suspected to be a house robbery in Zenzele ext 1 on Sunday

The suspects fired a shot through the door and hit the woman on the upper body who was lying on the bed, the woman died as a result of the injuries sustained.
The unknown suspects then forced open the door and stole a TV and a cellphone. No suspect arrested yet on both incidents.

The police are appealing to anyone who might have information that will lead to the apprehension of the suspects to come forth and notify the police.

🎭✨ YOUNG CREATIVES BRING SOUTH AFRICAN LEGENDS TO LIFE!

Young creatives from across Gauteng gathered at Rhoo Hlatswayo Community Arts Centre in Daveyton for a puppetry workshop celebrating arts, culture and heritage.

The initiative brings iconic figures such as Zahara, Mama Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, Brenda Fassie and many more to life through puppetry, while teaching children and young people how to create their own puppets and explore their creativity. 🎨🧵

Supported by government and Gauteng Arts Corridors, the programme will soon culminate in a puppetry parade showcasing the incredible creations. 🎭🔥
