The much-anticipated SALGA KZN DSAC games for 2025, hosted by uMgungundlovu District, have officially kicked off with a bang following the official opening ceremony at the Msunduzi Athletics track this afternoon.
Attendees included KZN Premier Thami Ntuli, Sport, Arts and Culture MEC Mntomuhle Kawula, and municipal leaders from all eleven participating districts, including Ethekwini Metro.
The event is set to run until Sunday, December 7, with a closing ceremony scheduled for the afternoon. Ethekwini is no stranger to the top spot, having been the champions for almost two decades.
The competition promises to be an exciting spectacle, with athletes from across the province showcasing their skills and talents in over a dozen codes. The atmosphere is electric, and everyone is eager to see who will take home the coveted title.
