Aden Hinds is a SAMA nominated singer/songwriter known for his work as one half of The Hinds Brothers as well as his dynamic solo performances.
With a soulful baritone voice of great originality and beauty, Aden Hinds’ music is often crafted around the lush textures of the acoustic guitar, while his songwriting is insightful, lyrical, and passionate.
As "The Hinds Brothers", he and his brother Wren released the SAMA nominated album Ocean of Milk. Hinds has performed extensively throughout South Africa, including appearances at SA’s premier music festivals Splashy Fen and Oppikoppi. Hinds has shared the stage with the likes of Syd Kitchen, Madala Kunene, Steve Fataar, W***y Mason and Johnny Clegg just to name a few.
A classically trained violinist who strayed from the confines of classical music to wander in other stranger pastures and absorbed the influences of Celtic, blues, roots and bluegrass music along with a bit of jazz and gypsy soul, Anton Cawthorn-Blazeby is one of SA’s most respected musicians. Well known for his work with SAMA nominated instrumentalists Landscape Prayers, which he formed with Nibs van der Spuy, he has also worked with many of SA’s top artists such Steve Newman, Steve Fataar, Guy Buttery, Robin Auld and Squeal.
He is currently part of the fabulous South Jersey Pom Poms!
Ant and Aden come together fro their fisrst collaboration in Durban for some time. The mix of Celtic , African and Indian influences results in a musical language of vibrant and unique improvisation…an evening of entertainment that will enthuse and uplift!
