Memory Lane… ❤️🎙️

2024 – I had the honour of writing my very first jingle for what was then called The Gagasi Fast Lane. That was the beginning of a journey I’ll always be grateful for.

2025 – I was blessed with another opportunity to write a second jingle for The Gagasi Fast Lane. A reminder that consistency creates opportunities.

2026 – The show evolved into the Gagasi FM Drive. I had already written this year’s jingle, but with the mid-season changes, it’s time to write another one—this time also welcoming Minnie Ntuli to the Drive.

Looking back, I can’t help but smile. Every jingle tells a story, not just of a radio show, but of my own growth as a writer and creative. Ngiyabonga to everyone at Gagasi FM who has believed in my work, and to everyone who continues to support this journey.

Here’s to more words, more creativity, and more unforgettable moments on air.

Three years. Multiple jingles. One dream that keeps growing.

Yesterday this poem was aired on Gagasi FM as we welcomed Women’s Month.

A gentle reminder that ukuhlonipha umuntu wesimame akugcini ngo-August kuphela. Their prayers, love, and sacrifices continue to build families, communities, and the nation.

Thank you, God. Thank you, Gagasi FM. Thank you to every listener who continues to believe in my gift.

The Business of Poetry.

This pie chart is not a rulebook, it’s my personal view of what poetry can become.

I believe poetry is more than standing on a stage with a microphone. It can live in music, radio, advertising, voiceovers, brand campaigns, special occasions, current affairs, and many other spaces.

As a poet, I choose not to wait for opportunities.I create them.

Poetry is not just an art form; it is a profession with endless possibilities.
