ARE YOU ASPIRING TO BE A GOSPEL IDOL?
Then eThekwini Municipality has just the platform for you to showcase your talent. The Municipality’s gospel music programme, formerly known as the Gospel Icon Discovery and recently renamed eThekwini Gospel Music Crescendos, is back.
Auditions start this coming weekend. If your dream is to become a gospel artist and you are between the ages of 16 and 35, this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is for you. Make your way to auditions at the venues provided on the poster. Auditions start at 07h00 until 16h00. Although the audition process remains the same, our ultimate goal is to cultivate thirty gospel singers who will go on to create a choir and showcase their talents on larger platforms.
Aspirant singers who enter this competition stand the chance of winning money, a recording deal, and an opportunity to be mentored by established artists in the gospel music industry. Make sure you bring along your ID or birth certificate when auditioning.
