The Evolving Freedom

Freedom then
was a ballot in trembling hands,
a dream planted in wounded soil,
a sunrise promised after endless night.

Freedom now
is a canvas, a code, a business plan,
a voice in boardrooms, in hashtags, in art.
It is not just breaking chains,
but building empires.

Then, we marched to be counted.
Now, we create to be remembered.

Freedom is no longer just a door unlocked —
it is the courage to design the world beyond it.

Challenge accepted! 💪 When she said she wanted a design for her Glam Beauty Bar in just 30 minutes, I knew I had to bring my A-game. Started at 8 AM, collected all the materials the night before, and by 8:26 AM, I had it ready to go! Always up for a challenge and delivering on time.

She said she lost the ad post I made for her and asked if I could create just one design. I told her I'd have it ready before I sleep. Well, I ended up creating not just one, but multiple designs! Time was tight, but creativity wouldn’t let me sleep. 😅

Most of the designs I’ve created were done while I was feeling down (NGIGOWA)—some while I had a headache, others under a lot of pressure. But through it all, I’ve realized that creativity is my remedy for everything.

I just wish I had discovered this passion earlier when I had more opportunities, but it’s never too late! Right now, I’m on a mission to find a graphic design job or learnership because I want to grow and learn more. So far, I’ve been designing using only my smartphone, Canva, and Pixellab, but I’m eager to master professional design software and take my skills to the next level.

Creativity is in my blood—it’s not just talent, it’s who I am. I may lack resources, but I won’t stop chasing my dream. If you know of any learnerships, internships, or opportunities in graphic design, please let me know. I’m even willing to relocate for the right opportunity!
