DRC: "We are supported by the international community, and I believe the Rwandans will withdraw from our territory and return home," says Evariste Kakule Somo, military governor of North Kivu.

"In North Kivu, a return to peace is still possible."

DRC: CENCO-ECC: According to our unofficial sources, President Félix Tshisekedi has agreed in principle to the opening of a political dialogue, but under certain strict conditions.

Among the Head of State's demands: the formal exclusion of Joseph Kabila, Moïse Katumbi, and Corneille Nangaa from the talks; however, the inclusion of Pastor Dodo Kamba's team, which is deemed essential to the process.

Furthermore, the presidential camp, through Désiré-Cashmir Eberande's team, will have to collaborate closely with CENCO and the ECC to attempt to harmonize positions.

Félix Tshisekedi also reportedly expressed reservations about certain ecclesiastical figures, notably Bishop Nshole, Cardinal Ambongo, and Bishop Muteba, whom he would not want to see implicated, while reminding the bishops that he had a report from the General Inspectorate of Finance (IGF) on their management of certain social projects entrusted to them by the government.
