Such excitement this morning when Chris' book Sox, a wonderful story written about how he rescued our dear Sox, has been chosen out of 3 000 books that our international publisher is going to especially promote at the Miami Book Fair International in the USA. This fair brings together hundreds of thousands of booklovers to celebrate the written word. Portion of the attendees are children and families drawn by the different activities at the book event.
The fair started in 1984, and since has been recognized as the largest literary festival in America. More than 300 writers and 300,000 booklovers attend the event each year. The fair is famous for the Festival of Authors, which invites notable authors for a series of readings and discussions. Past authors have included recipients of the Nobel Prize, Pulitzer Prize, and National Book Award.
The fair will be at Miami Dade College in Miami, Fla., from 16–18 November 2018.
