In 2020 floods cut the highway between Broome and Kununurra and this was the quickest way around on sealed roads.

After watching the comments ive noticed some of you are very observant.
I had never noticed the NZD Instead of $ on the receipt
I purchased half a block of butter and 1 egg in this shop
Someone did mention the town I live just from the ston at the top of the receipt.

Never had something worth posting before till just a few days ago!
A rather dull tradition of mine is going to a discount food shop called company shop on new years day, a food surplus shop only available to those with membership (eternally grateful to my ever suffering partner) and as a sucker for some discounted meal items i can only oblige in using this often
Going in hoping for the best but expecting nothing at all we kicked things off with a free lettuce of all things. We go with hope in our eyes to the meat and fridge section and... was our eyes deceiving us? Free meat! Not just free meat, m&s free meat but also things such as the expensive chicken kievs from aldi, buttermilk chicken tenders from m&s, deluxe large for 2 ready meals from lidl and a hell of a lot of other stuff
After fighting off the people around me and mangaing to get mostly up to the max of 12 packs per person we get to the tills and spend less than 20 quid, hell the areo chocolate was the most expensive on the receipt!
A rough estimate based on in shop pricing determined the full trolley value to be around £320; not too bad for only 17 quid!
32m, no banana didn't have room for it now i have 3 months worth of food 😅

My wife and I are shopping for a new car. Being a Virgo, I’ve watched countless review and technical videos, created a trim selector spreadsheet, and at least a few checklists.
We took a Mazda CX-50 out for an extended test drive and one thing on the “Test drive checklist” is to make sure the new car fits in the garage nicely.
Mazda threw the gauntlet down.
(This was the hybrid with the exact drivetrain as a Toyota RAV4, but I didn’t get it because the seats are too stiff)

Today I was thinking why do I lock the door when I visit the bathroom, knowing that nobody else is at home.
