A proud moment for Gela Productions.🙂

Much like a parent, it is a proud moment for the organisation to witness growth within the team.
Our junior operators have been extensively trained and provided opportunities to not only upskill themselves technically through the use of high end equipment , but also mentally through the mentorship of the elder team.

After a grueling, fast paced production, full of back to back interviews, we looked at them proudly witnessing their good work ethic and determination, knowing they were fully ready and could be entrusted to face any challenges they encountered on production.

Well done junior team.🔥 👏

It has been almost a year since the tragic passing of Advocate Ngumbela yet his legacy of unearthing talented African cricket players through his tournament,the Ngumbela Cup Tournament,lives on- verifying the isizulu saying,
"Kohamba izinsizwa, kosala izibongo" , translated, " Heros may depart this earth, yet their acts of heroism will live on."

The vision for Advocate Ngumbela was simple yet profound and he spent 30 years investing in this tournament from his own pocket, building pitches, playing grounds amongst other heroic acts of ensuring that children were removed from the streets.
