House of Saint Luke joins the Ambrosia Haven line-up

We’re proud to welcome Mxolisi “Luke” Mkhize — the designer behind House of Saint Luke — to Ambrosia Haven.

Born and raised in Umlazi, Durban, Mxo built HSL from the ground up. A UKZN graduate who taught himself the craft of tailoring, he turned a personal love of fashion into one of KwaZulu-Natal’s most recognisable menswear houses. His talent took him to Milan in 2012 for an internship at Massimo Crivelli’s studio, and to fashion weeks across the continent — Windhoek, Mozambique, and the CANEX Festival in Côte d’Ivoire.

Closer to home, Mxo is a two-time winner of Best Menswear Collection at the Durban Fashion Fair, an invited Vodacom Durban July designer, and a name behind the red-carpet looks of some of SA’s biggest stars. His work has been featured in GQ, where he was named one of South Africa’s top six menswear designers.

His signature is unmistakable: bold, tailored, eclectic and formal — drawn from South African culture, history and faith.

We can’t wait to see what he brings to the runway.
