Football should unite us, not divide us. 🇿🇼🤝🇿🇦⚽

Yes, many Zimbabweans living in South Africa have experienced or witnessed xenophobia. The pain, fear and frustration are real. But should we direct that anger at 11 players wearing a national jersey? Should an entire nation be judged by the actions of a few?

If we do that, aren't we becoming what we claim to oppose?

Bafana Bafana did not create xenophobia. The players on that pitch are not responsible for the hatred of a handful of misguided individuals. In fact, countless South Africans have stood shoulder to shoulder with fellow Africans, rejecting xenophobia and defending the dignity of migrants.

Those who benefit from division want Africans fighting each other. They want Zimbabweans against South Africans, Nigerians against Zimbabweans, Congolese against everyone else. Every time we fall into that trap, we hand them victory.

We can condemn xenophobia without condemning an entire people. We can demand justice without abandoning fairness. We can challenge hate while still embracing African unity.

Pan-Africanism isn't just a slogan we use when it's convenient. It is choosing solidarity over bitterness, dialogue over hostility, and humanity over stereotypes.

Africa has enough battles already. Let's not turn football into another one.

One Africa. One people. One future. ✊🏾🌍❤️

What's your take? Can we separate our justified anger from our love for the beautiful game? :::

🔥 SAZIM TRENDING | FROM "ABAHAMBE!" TO THE TOP TABLE... ALONE 🔥

He was clever.

He studied the mood of the people and realised that if he simply shouted "Abahambe!", thousands would rally behind him, believing he would champion their cause and secure them a place at the table where decisions are made.

But once he got his own seat at that table, he forgot about the very people who carried him there.

Today, he is dining alone while his supporters are left wondering what happened to the promises that inspired them.

This is a recurring lesson in African politics. Too many voters continue to be swayed by slogans, personalities, and emotions instead of demanding policies, accountability, and tangible results.

Political opportunists often identify a genuine public grievance, amplify it, build a movement around it, and then use that movement as a ladder to personal power and privilege.

The people's frustration becomes campaign fuel.
The people's votes become the ticket to power.
Yet once power is secured, the people themselves are often forgotten.

Until voters stop blindly following personalities and start holding leaders accountable for their actions, opportunistic politics will continue to flourish.

🗣️ An informed electorate is the strongest defence against political manipulation.

What do you think? Are African voters becoming more politically conscious, or are slogans still winning elections?

South Africa is once again at a sensitive crossroads — balancing national concerns around immigration with the need to protect unity, dignity, and social cohesion.

🚨 DREAMS BULLDOZED! 💔🏠 🚨

Another painful scene unfolding in Zimbabwe as a family watches their home being reduced to rubble by bulldozers. Reports indicate the demolitions stem from demarcation and planning issues—mistakes many argue should have been caught by the authorities responsible for allocating and approving residential stands.

For ordinary citizens, a house is not just bricks and mortar. It is years of sacrifice, sleepless nights, loans, savings, and hope for a better future. To see it destroyed in a matter of minutes is heartbreaking.

The big question Zimbabweans are asking is: Why must citizens pay the price for planning failures they did not create? 🤔

If authorities made mistakes in allocating land or approving developments, who will compensate the affected families for their losses?

🇿🇼 As the elite continue to live comfortably, many ordinary Zimbabweans are once again left counting the cost.

📹 Watch the video and tell us: Should affected homeowners be compensated if the fault lies with the authorities?

🚨 RAMAPHOSA SPEAKS ON ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION 🇿🇦

President Cyril Ramaphosa says South Africa must tackle illegal immigration while ensuring that migration is properly managed and regulated to support economic growth and opportunities for all.

He warned that illegal immigration can place pressure on public services and undermine efforts to create jobs. However, the President also made it clear that South Africans must respect the law and reject violence, xenophobia, intimidation, and vigilantism.

🗣️ "There is no place for taking the law into your own hands. Immigration challenges must be addressed through legal processes and the relevant authorities."

🇿🇦 The debate around immigration continues to divide opinion across the country.

👇 What are your thoughts? Should South Africa tighten its borders and immigration laws, or should the focus be on improving enforcement of existing laws?
