Today we hold Bondi, Sydney, in prayer.

We grieve the lives lost and pray for those who were injured, traumatised, and forever changed. We lift the families and loved ones of the victims and ask God to surround them with comfort, strength, and peace in the midst of deep sorrow.

We thank God for the courage of first responders and bystanders who acted selflessly to protect others.

With antisemitism confirmed as the motive, we stand in solidarity with the Jewish community. We pray for Jewish Australians who are hurting or fearful, and we clearly reject antisemitism in all its forms. Hatred has no place where Godโ€™s love reigns.

May God be close to the broken hearted. May He bring healing where there is trauma, and peace to a grieving nation.

Today we had the final handover of the BMW Toy Drive at the BMW East London dealership, bringing an incredible few days of community generosity to a close. What started as a simple idea to fill two cars turned into something far bigger, thanks to the heart of East London.

Because of the volume of toys, nappies, and donations received, we were also able to include Greensleeves Children's Trust as an additional beneficiary, alongside Breath of Life , Guardians of Hope and the Down Syndrome Association.

A heartfelt thank you to every individual, family, school and business who contributed, collected, dropped off and cheered us on. And to BMW East London, thank you for driving this initiative and matching every contribution. These cars carried far more than donations. They carried hope.

East London, you reminded us what community really looks like.
