So, I’ve decided to do something a little crazy and have been thinking about it for a while, I will be swimming 5km to raise awareness for cancer in June 2025. Here’s the twist: for every meter I swim, I want to honor someone impacted by cancer. That’s 5,000 meters, 5,000 names.

And I need your help. If you know someone, whether it’s a friend, family member, or even an organization, who’s been affected by cancer, I want to hear their story. Nominate them, and they’ll be part of a tribute video that I’ll create once I hit the 5,000 nominations.

This isn’t just about me swimming (trust me, it’s going to be a struggle), it’s about all of us coming together to share these stories and show how strong the cancer community is.

Once I get all 5,000 names, I’ll share the promo video, and it’s going to be something special. So let’s make every meter count.

A special shout-out to the local municipality (Gonubie) for providing the ultimate training facilities, who knew potholes could double as perfect training facilities.

Finally got to see Yellow Sands Resort. It blows my mind how such beauty we have right around our communities. If your a caravan fanatic, this is a tick it before you kick it item. Another reason why East London and the East Coast is beautiful.
