The dazzling Local Fashion Police grand finale marks an end to a scintillating chapter in South Africa’s fashion calendar

It was enchanting! It was captivating! It was dazzling! It was the grand finale of the Proudly South African Local Fashion Police, where the sartorial savants of the local fashion scene descended on Africa’s richest square mile to add pizzazz and celebrate South Africa’s rich and dynamic fashion industry.

The finale of the 2025 Local Fashion Police attracted an assortment of personalities, from political heavyweights, entrepreneurs, industry doyens, fashionistas, media and social media personalities who came in droves and showcased their sartorial flair.

The grand finale of the Local Fashion Police was a night to remember, marking the end of an electrifying fifth edition of our local fashion competition.

The seven winners, including the selecting judge, are:

• Stephanie Brookes from Gauteng - Stephen Van Eeden
• Savannah Allessandra Cozzi from Gauteng - Tshepo Jeans

World AIDS Day is observed annually on 1 December to raise awareness about HIV and AIDS, and expresses solidarity with affected communities, and support people living with the virus. This year marks 37 years since its inception and will be commemorated globally under the theme “Overcoming Disruption, Transforming the AIDS Response”.

South Africa will use this occasion to reaffirm its commitment to ending HIV and AIDS through targeted awareness campaigns, community engagement, and sustainable interventions.
