Episode 1 | Stories of The Games we Play with Waleed Majiet Al-Yamani and Charles Khuzwayo

Stories of the Games we play is a love letter to the medium that made us. From early mornings pinching off pees to play a quick game of Mortal Kombat before you had to bring the bread home to social thrashings at your local Magic Company.

Charles Khuzwayo, an accomplished filmmaker and producer joins me as we wax lyrical about games and the stories that were inspired by them.

In this episode, we unpack the operatic sequel to the smash hit 'The Last of Us' four years from its release. We talk about the fan fallout of the sequels most daring move, cycle of violence and how the story asks us to be a active participant in continuing this violence or stopping it.
