Virtual Guarding takes your CCTV System and turns it into a Guard.

There are two types of Virtual Guarding.

1. A Virtual Guard is a real security agent that is located remotely. The guard then connects to the area being monitored via the Internet with assistance from analytical software that identifies movement and a detailed reporting system. With this concept, communities have real-time communication and human intervention at a fraction of the cost of onsite guards.

2. Black screen Monitoring makes use of software to identify intrusion while using very little human intervention and is therefore a much cheaper option. Once the system alerts the operator takes over and confirms the threat and actions it. The software is designed to detect movement and can be used to set up parameters to certain areas only. We make use of this system for Residential Virtual Guarding as it is more affordable.

Pepper spray is legal for civilian use in South Africa. TTK Surveillance offers two different pepper spray applications:

1. The first option is the pepper spray alarm system. This unit is linked to an alarm sensor and, once triggered, can either automatically dispense pepper spray or be activated remotely from our control room. It is designed for indoor use.

2. The second option is a pepper spray gun, intended for outdoor use. This unit includes a built-in camera and can connect to our control room, where a trained operator can deploy pepper spray bullets.

Both units are designed to temporarily incapacitate an intruder, providing enough time to seek safety and call for help.

Well done to our team in the control room for their vigilant and effective observations, which saw 18 positive incidents and 1 arrest, ranging from trespassing, theft, attempted theft, break-in, damage to property, shoplifting, staff theft, assault and attempted armed robbery, in the month of June.

On June 24th, our team identified signs of a break-in at the premises of one of our valued clients, Synergy Commodities, located in Chloorkop, Kempton Park.

Upon noticing irregularities, our team promptly initiated a thorough response protocol. We quickly assessed the situation and took decisive action to secure the site, which ultimately allowed us to prevent any potential losses or damage to the client's property.

We understand that incidents like these can be incredibly distressing for clients, as they not only involve financial concerns but also represent a significant infringement on their sense of safety and privacy. Our commitment is to ensure the well-being of our clients and to mitigate the impact of such threatening situations.
