Verse: Job 22:28

‘You will succeed in whatever you choose to do, and light will shine on the road ahead of you.’

- When we put God first in our lives, the results can be astounding.
- Aligning ourselves with God’s will brings success into our lives.
- Life’s uncertainties needn’t overwhelm us, because HE will show us the way.
- Commit your plans to God, move forward confidently and expect His favour.

PRAYER: Lord, I submit my life and my future into Your Almighty hands. You are the Giver of life and of every good thing. I look to You to flood my pathway with light and to give me victory. Amen.

The Word for today:

Verse: Acts 7:55

‘But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God.’

- The Lord wants to reveal and show you more of Himself.
- Even in the most difficult of situations, you can still experience more of Him.
- Many times we need to see things from a different perspective.
- When we keep looking to the Lord, we will begin to see things differently.

PRAYER: Lord, help me not to become distressed by what is going on around me or what challenges I may be facing. Help me to always look beyond what I may see and feel, so that I will be able to see You and know that You are with me. Amen.

Verse: Matthew 6:11

‘Give us today our daily bread.’

- The Lord is your Source and your Provider.
- Day by day He supplies us with exactly what we need for that day.
- He is interested in the small details of our lives and wants to meet those needs.
- As we trust Him, anxiety and needless fears about His faithfulness can flee.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You that with each new day I can look forward to Your faithfulness and kindness towards me. You know what I need today and I ask You to provide exactly what I need for this specific day. Amen.

Verse: Romans 12:2

‘Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.’

- Our minds and our ‘thought-life’ greatly influences our lives.
- What the world presents us with can leave us feeling negative and discouraged.
- Our minds need to be constantly renewed to believe in God and His goodness.
- He will see you through whatever you are facing and He brings hope into our lives.

PRAYER: Lord, I pray that I will not be overwhelmed by the things that are going on around me. May my mind be renewed so that I will believe in Your lovingkindness and Your faithfulness in my life. Amen.
