“But the conversion rate is so LOW…” 👀

This client’s lead-to-customer conversion rate looks low on paper, really low, around 0.6% low, the kind of low that may fool you into believing the ads aren't working.

Except…
💰 R78,000 was spent on advertising.
💵 Approximately R1,000,000 was generated in revenue.
📈 That's a 1,282% ROAS.

For every R1 spent on advertising, approximately R12.82 came back in revenue. Just like that, that low conversion rate doesn't look quite so scary, does it? 😂

This is why we don't believe marketing success should be measured by CPL, number of leads or conversion rate alone. What is a customer worth? How much did it cost to acquire them? Did the campaign actually make the business money?

🎯 66 leads generated
✅ 3 converted, just 4,55% conversion (which is actually pretty good, FYI!)
💵 R55,500 in revenue generated
🚀 2,721% ROAS

NOT EVERY LEAD IS GOING TO CONVERT, you just need the right numbers to make the ad spend make business-sense.

I met with a Meta lead yesterday, and they said something that made my little marketing heart VERY happy. 😂 “You were the only agency that responded to our enquiry properly.”

We looked at their business, asked the right questions and treated their enquiry like it mattered. Apparently, that was enough to get us the meeting.

Perhaps our competitive advantage is simply giving a damn. 😂

The ads can generate the lead, but what you do with it afterwards? That’s where the work matters.
