Mommy fish puts you through school & university.
Mommy fish wants you to be the model fish at Ocean Basket but your goal in life was to be caught by a fisherman just before Good Friday, priced extremely high and then being the main ingredient for someone's pickled fish recipe... and it happens! You become a matyr.

You lay soaked in onions with vinegar for 5 days and then on Good Friday, Nancy who loves strange things comes and spoils your life's ambition by warming you in the microwave.

Today, I challenged one of my 3 biggest fears.
Open sea swimming/ Snorkelling.

Lyle often invited me for a snorkel and everytime I gave an excuse, until today.
At first I was like, we'll snorkel by the "baby steps" until Jason said let's go deeper in.
As soon as I saw how deep we were (about 3 metres deep)
I began to panic.
I saw the ocean floor below me, I saw the sand, rocks, big and small fish, sea urchins and my fear kicked into overdrive.
Immediately, I grabbed Jason and said take me back please.
He said in a calm tone "relax, we won't go deeper" we waited about a minute and then I looked down and I got use to it.
Sidenote: How many times in life do we experience something for the first time and panic kicks and then you immediately stop? If you just pause during the panic, breathe and then you realize that it's okay.

Minutes later, Jason (a grown man) holding my hand (another grown man) taking me about 100-120 metres into the ocean to where Lyle was spearfishing. We were atleast 15 metres deep and I saw a whole new world. It was absolutely magical.
30 minutes was enough out there, I went back to shore only to want to go back in for round 2.
I feel like I did something manly.
However, in my wetsuit, I pee'd a lot.
Best highlight of my holiday so far!

This marathon training block was special.
I wasn't part of a running club, I ran alone and one day, I just decided to pray while running, it became a norm where my spirit would say "did you thank God yet"

"In all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path"
Proverbs 3 vs 6.
This one was for Jesus!

The funny part is, I prayed while trying but today I was swearing at the loop of death 😅

Dear people living with Anxiety and Depression.
