VUT FM OUTSIDE

We are broadcasting live from Mahareng Secondary School for The Awareness Campaign School's Cycle Tour with The SAPS.

In line with the concept of correctional supervision, rehabilitation, re-integration of offenders and the social crime prevention; organize a cycle tour to local correctional facilities and schools. The aim being to emphasize the need for offenders to participate in corrective programs that seeks to prepare them mentally for the challenges outside, once released from prison and also highlight the plight of ex-offenders with regard to the stigma that goes with imprisonment and the criminal record that has proven to be an obstacle for the latter when seeking employment.

Contributing towards an impactful life one day at a time.
