A Durban North property owner has been hit with water bills as high as R8000 a month, despite proof showing no such usage. Even when the property was empty, the meter kept ticking, and the bills kept climbing.

He’s now speaking out about a pattern of billing errors, lack of accountability, and a system that’s failing ratepayers.
