"Tho-tho-thoā€ā€”the sound of heritage reborn. šŸ”„šŸø

Meet Moshe Mello, a 33-year-old chemical engineer and entrepreneur from Lebowakgomo, who is turning tradition into triumph with Thothotho Premium Gin. Inspired by his grandmother and driven by purpose, he’s reclaiming African identity through innovation—distilling a proudly Sepedi legacy into every drop.

FOR IMMEDIATE ERELEASE

Two stadiums - Two nights, it’s going to be epic!

Makhadzi announces DJ Zinhle, MickeyBlack, Nomcebo Zikode, Somizi Mhlongo and Shandesh as the first -phase acts to the ā€˜Makhadzi One Woman Show’

LIMPOPO, 25 JULY 2025: BET Award-winning singer Makhadzi has announced the first phase of her line-up for the ā€˜Makhadzi: One Woman Show' themed Womandla!

The first phase comprises of an all female- line-up made up of Award-winning DJ Zinhle, rising star MickeyBlack, Grammy-Award winner Nomcebo Zikode, bubbling newcomer Shandesh, and renowned host Somizi Mhlogo.

Makhadzi made the big announcement in a concert at a taxi rank in her hometown of Thohoyandou, where her career began. This is the very place where it she performed as a teen - a taxi rank that once served as Makhadzi’s first stage — where she sang with nothing but a speaker, a dream, and the belief that her voice mattered. Today, that same voice echoes across Africa and the world.

ā€œI will never forget where I come from; that is why I chose to launch at home with the people who believed in me first,ā€ Makhadzi said.

"The first phase introduces the strong, powerful women who inspire me. Only female artists, bold, powerful, and proudly African. This show is about honouring the voices that are shaping the future,ā€ she added.

Makhadzi plans to make history with two nights (20 December & 21 December) and at two stadiums (Makhuvha Stadium and Rabali Stadium). Each stadium is expected to host over 30,000 music lovers and supporters.

ā€œHosting two nights at two stadiums is a symbol of how far we’ve come, and how much further we can go.ā€

Tickets available at Computicket
December 20th, we take over Makhuvha Stadium
December 21st, we light up Rabali Stadium

šŸŽ¬āœØ Kekulu Portia Nyoni is more than a filmmaker—she’s a story healer. Through every frame, scene, and script, she unearths truth, heals wounds, and gives voice to the silenced. Her journey is one of purpose, pain, and powerful storytelling—using film not just to entertain, but to transform. From Limpopo to the world, her lens is a mirror for society and a light for those still finding their way. šŸŽ„šŸ’«
