Massif Films welcomes this incredible first piece done by the newly joined Kabeer Shaik who created and directed this concept piece with the incredible team at NSRI (National Sea Rescue Institute). This film is based on a rescue done at Strand Beach. A camera operator identified a young boy in need and immediately coordinated the rescue from the Emergency Operations Center.

We're very excited to share the wonderful news that our director Nare Mokgotho will be on the South African Pavilion at the 60th edition of the Venice Biennale as one half of the artist duo MADEYOULOOK.

MADEYOULOOK engages different approaches focused on intertextual installations, gatherings, discursive programmes, research and publishings. Their work encourages a re-observation of and de-familiarisation with the everyday urban South African life.
