Bodies of Raphasha children found decomposed, lying next to one another in the bush.

Police has opened an inquest after the bodies of the young sisters, Kamogelo Raphasha(7) and her younger sister Tshegofatso Raphasha(5) were found yesterday on the 14 September 2021 at about 18h00 by a passerby in the graze camp next to gaMashalane village in Limpopo.
The family once wrote to Seshego and Moletjie news about these two sisters who went missing on Monday 23 August 2021 at Marobjane village under Senwabarwana policing area after they were reportedly last seen walking with their aunt whom is said to be mentally challenged to spread the message.
According to the police reports, the bodies were found lying next to one another in the bush and were already in a state of decomposition.
The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe is saddened by this incident but has thanked all role players, the police and members of the community for the efforts displayed during the frantic search of these siblings.
“What remains now is to determine whether any individual could be held responsible for the deaths of these children. The police will now open an inquest docket to probe the circumstances that led to this sorrowful incident. We urge community members in the area to remain calm and give the investigations space to unfold unhindered,” concluded Lieutenant General Hadebe.
Police investigations are continuing.
