Some photos from one of our latest shoots with , part of the series “Transforming Cities II” presented by

For this film we travelled from New York to , in Southwest France, to explore how bentley systems’ digital twin technology is helping cities face the challenges of tomorrow.

In New York, we met longtime resident and Bentley advisor Tomas Kellner as he reflected on the city’s resilience after Hurricane Sandy, and discovered how flood management projects are being reimagined with advanced digital tools.

In Pau, we joined 3D digital planner Sebastien Heuzé on a cycle tour of the city, showing how the same technology supports more inclusive and sustainable urban planning — from reducing traffic congestion to revitalizing public spaces.

At its core, this story is about passing the baton between generations, and how innovation and collaboration can help build stronger, more resilient cities for the future.

For this film we spent time in Richard Toll, Senegal with Bagoré Bathily to document the work he does on the ground with La Laiterie Du Berger.

Growing up in Dakar, Bagore was surrounded by the herding communities of the Senegalese desert, but saw that their produce wasn't reaching the communities of cities. He's finding ways to uphold the livelihood of rural dairy farming families, like Maimouna's, as well as providing education and more stability in this environment where the south meets the north.

Spending time with and , learning about life with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), and witnessing their dedication to supporting others affected by this painful genetic skin disorder was truly inspiring.

This is a powerful story of resilience, human connection, and the universal desire to lead a meaningful life — even in the face of extraordinary challenges.

in May, We went on a shoot for and the Union for International Cancer Control in Nairobi and Kisumu, Kenya to document the work they are doing on the ground for early detection and education about breast cancer in rural areas.

Always a pleasure to work on such inspiring stories and spend time with amazing creatives we have been working with for several years!

Since the creation of Momentum Production we have continuously tried to change the way productions are made throughout the world, with a key emphasis on the African continent, where we have done most of our work in the past 10 years.

In order to do so we have tried to considerably reduce our carbon footprint by very rarely flying on the ground and rather rely on our network of talented filmmakers and photographers locally.

Once in a while, we do travel far in order to shoot a story. And when we do this we try to make sure we also have an impact on the ground.

Last month in Rwanda, we partnered with our good friend , and the where we held a one day workshop with several amazing young photographers and filmmakers.

Together we started to shoot a short documentary about Jack and the center he has created several years ago.

Last month we were in Rubavu, Rwanda, for another exciting project with documenting the incredible work Nutrition In City Ecosystems (NICE) does on the ground.
