Jaguar Land Rover says it cannot be held responsible for repairs to a R1.633 million Jaguar Defender which has apparently been returned at least thirteen times over a three-year period due to recurring mechanical failures.

THE Eastern Cape high court has sentenced taxi conductor, Thembelani Mrwetyana, to four life terms for r**e, two terms of 15 years for robbery with aggravating circumstances, and two terms of six years for kidnapping.

The sentences relate to two separate incidents in which Mrwetyana, aged 26, and a co-perpetrator used a taxi to lure unsuspecting women, whom they then robbed and r**ed.
