Three South African men have been apprehended in the United States of America (USA) after they were found to have committed various violent crimes, including r**e, with one deported by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

One of them, a child predator, 50-year-old Barrett Preston Busschau, was deported back to South Africa by ICE in June.

The Cape of Good Hope SPCA responded to a cruelty complaint involving a cart pony that had recently survived a dog attack. Despite her visible injuries, the owner continued to force the wounded animal to pull a cart.
