Happy 2025, everyone! 🎉 Here's to an incredible year ahead for all of us!
At Popcorn Productions, even during the holidays, our passion for creativity and storytelling keeps us in motion. This past break, we had the privilege of working with an exciting new brand on the market, Noobeing.
What made this project particularly special was the chance to explore a highly cost-effective approach to production. No million-rand cameras, no massive crews, and no elaborate setups—just three professionals, two eager students, and a bold idea.
We set out to prove that creating impactful, professional-quality work doesn’t always require a huge budget. By thinking outside the box, we demonstrated that you can shoot, edit, and produce exceptional content while staying efficient and resourceful.
Here’s how we made it happen:
Crew: A lean and talented team led by Paul Michael Charles (TAP FILMS) and Richard “Flare” Hughes.
Gear: Shot on the Sony A7siii with an 85mm Prime Lens and 70-200mm Lens.
Post-Production: Edited and graded in Da Vinci Resolve, with all sound effects crafted by Richard.
