This eatery might be Onrus’s best seaside secret 🤭

Families tuck into seafood and sushi on the lagoon’s edge, and kids build their own waffles and snack on loaded hotdogs 🌭

Here’s everything we love about Milk On The Beach:

🌊 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀. From almost anywhere in the restaurant you can see the surrounding mountains, Onrus Beach and the lagoon.

🍣 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗳𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗶 (there’s even vegan sushi with maki, carrot roses and bamboo rolls), poké bowls, potstickers and matured sirloin steak.

🧇 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘀 at the Waffle Shack (just downstairs). Kids are spoiled for choice with toppings and there are even vegan waffles!

🍷 𝗗𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿 from 5pm to 6pm, with local wine at R45 a glass. The wine list has faves like Beaumont Chenin & Zevenwacht’s 7even Sauvignon Blanc.

🐕 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗼. A bowl of treats greets well-behaved pooches at the entrance. They just need to be on leashes.

This new Newlands development has bold architecture & amazing amenities 😍

It’s designed by TwoFiveFive Architects, known for their bold and timeless style.

Marlow on Mill will have warm brick, rounded balconies, and pops of yellow, pink and blue tile.

Each apartment will be unique, with a different layout and balcony shape, and some with sweeping views of the Hottentots Holland Mountains ⛰️

The exhibit is a powerful journey through 350 years of South Africa’s struggle history, with 100 life-size bronze statues of the fearless leaders who fought for our freedom.

Like Walter and Albertina Sisulu, Ahmed Kathrada, Desmond Tutu and Madiba himself of course.
