Taking some time to fill my cup 🪄🌼🏵️

This community has become extremely valuable to me. I never want to just grow a following. I want to grow a family of like minded people. People who love to love. People who dare to dream and people who hurt and are committed to healing 🌱

My content is a creative extension of me. I love telling stories, making jokes and addressing tough topics 💪🏼

But it's hard putting out quality content on a constant basis.

I never want to give you watered down mediocre content. Therefore I am taking a well deserved break for a week (maybe shorter, maybe longer, let's see how it goes) to recharge my creative brain and come back with new fresh ideas for content that can help you in some way, brighten your day with some laughter or just make you think ✨

For the first time in my life I understand what it feels like to lean into the good and the messy parts of myself & be loved, not despite thereof, but BECAUSE of it.

My entire life I was so desperate to be loved and accepted. I didn't want to step into my power because I was scared I was going to make others feel small.

To this community who is constantly rooting for me. Who loves me for who and what I am. Who understands I am also just a human who f***s up, and tries her best. I am forever grateful. You have helped me become the woman I have always wanted to be 🩷

My Story

My mother, Marietjie Hurter was practicing as a professional makeup artist for 16 years. She took me under her wing at the young age of 16 and trained me for 7 years. After that, I continued growing my passion and skill by attending numerous different workshops. My experience include makeup for weddings and events, television, theater productions, advertisements, fashion shoots, ramp shows as well as magazines. I have worked for magazines such as the Finesse and Women & Home. I have also had the honour of working on the Expresso morning show as makeup artist to the beautiful Zoe Brown as well as TV guests. Today my mother is no longer with us, but I continue to keep her legacy alive by doing what she loved most - helping women regain their forgotten power through just a bit of makeup.
