Violence against crew - The BELL movement 🔔
I’ve been sitting with this tragedy since I heard the news.
Paige Bell, a young stewardess, was found murdered onboard a yacht in the Bahamas. It’s suspected she was sexually assaulted before her life was taken. The main suspect is the engineer onboard.
It’s heartbreaking. It’s horrifying. It should NEVER have happened.
Like many of you, I’ve asked myself: What now? What can I do?
And honestly… Where do I even begin?
But maybe that’s exactly why I need to speak up.
Because if we all wait for someone perfect to start the conversation, we’ll keep burying the crew and burying the truth along with them.
So I’m not here to be a hero. I’m here to say:
- Paige deserved to be safe.
- Silence protects predators.
- This industry needs to improve.
I don’t have all the answers. But I believe someone out there does. And I believe this community, YOU, can help guide the way forward.

What’s the biggest root issue behind tragedies like this?
I’ll do everything I can to support, care, and amplify the right efforts. I want to be part of the change, and I know I’m not alone.
