Some children grow up invisible to the systems designed to protect them.

To help change that, we partnered with DeafKidz International to document the DeafKidz Defenders program across South Africa, Zambia, and Pakistan.

Working closely with teams on the ground, we captured the educators, facilitators, and communities empowering Deaf children with the knowledge and confidence to stay safe.

Through these case studies, our goal was simple:
to make this work visible, and to share the real impact happening inside schools and communities.

Meet our Creative Intern, Alex! He’s great at making coffee, loves the Outdoors and has a very catchy and mischievous laugh! Alex has recently joined us and has been a great addition to the team.

Alex assists the team with production setup and filming, gear maintenance and post production editing. Alex has always wanted to be involved in creating something like film, art or stories, so is loving being on the team, learning and getting hands-on experience.

Two things Alex loves:
The Outdoors and rock climbing
His dog Ghundi

Meet our Creative Production Specialist, Gilbert! He’s sharp, excellent at shooting hoops and loves all things art and culture. Gilbert is our newest team member and we are so glad to have him with us!

With over a decade of experience in cinema, editing, and visual storytelling, Gilbert has worked with international clients and media houses to bring powerful ideas to life. At Kythe Creative, he draws on this background to craft meaningful content and find fresh, engaging ways to connect with audiences.
His all-time goal is to travel the world and immerse himself in as many countries and cultures as possible.

Meet our Team Coordinator, Kirsten! She’s thoughtful, great at choosing gifts and thrives on efficiency! Kirsten joined us at the end of 2024 and has quickly settled into the team.

Kirsten is a Physiotherapist who has spent the last few years as a full-time mom to two lovely, busy boys. Needing flexibility in her family life, this role is the bee’s knees! Kirsten is very familiar with coordinating different teams and knows the importance of quick thinking, problem-solving, and clear communication. Kirsten is loving being around a bunch of creatives and getting to explore the exciting world of video and podcasting!

Luke founded Kythe Creative to create something meaningful, build an exceptional team, and help leaders share their experiences and knowledge authentically. With decades of experience in audio and video production, and a genuine love for working with people, he focuses on crafting meaningful content and collaborating closely with clients.

Meet our Lead Video Editor, Kaeghan! He’s focussed, our clients love him and he’s always on the hunt for a new adventure! Kaeghan was the first to join Luke to spearhead where Kythe Creative is today!

With years of experience as a video editor, Kaeghan brings creativity and technical skill to the team. His journey into video editing began with documenting his own adventures, sparking a love for creating content with depth and impact. He has extensive experience managing and collaborating with teams, which compliments his passion for crafting compelling stories.
