SUBMIT YOUR FILM
The film selection team is inviting all eligible South African based filmmakers to submit their films which meet the below-listed criteria, for consideration for programming in the 2025 festival.

This open call will run from Thursday 29 August and close at midnight on Tuesday 15 October 2024, with the selected films being notified between 1 and 8 November 2024.

CRITERIA
• All films submitted must have been completed after June 2023

• Priority will be given to World and African premieres

• All genres will be accepted except for pornographic films

• Film Durations:
Feature films: 75+ min (includes documentary and animation) Short films: 5 - 48 mins max (includes documentary and animation)

Best Feature Film
Best African Film
Best Documentary
Best Joburg Produced Film (only Joburg-based filmmakers are eligible for this prize)
