We were so pleased to be involved with this amazing project!

Last month, Rhino Rescue UK commissioned this beautiful wall to be built outside of Nourish - a few minutes drive from the Kruger National Park's Orpen gate.

In association with Walter Khoisan Ka Mthunzi and the students from Shobiyana School, they built, sculpted and painted this beautiful installation to remind us that we all need to do our bit to protect our rhinos and our natural heritage.

Many thanks to Panda Paints for thier sponsorship of some of the materials and to all involved in this special project!

It's always rewarding to see a local community throw their enthusiasm behind conservation and education. This fabulous project, funded and inspired by Rhino Rescue UK is exactly the kind of activity that Counting On Africa is proud to support and encourage. Walter Khoisan Ka Mthunzi and his team made good use of the products from Panda Paints to complete this beautiful wall at the entrance to Nourish eco village. It will be a lasting testament and reminder to passing traffic of the importance of protecting our precious wildlife, and will assist in continuing to involve and encourage the members of local communities to care and nurture the environment that sustains us all. Thank you Patsy Stagman and Terry Rawlings for sharing the fun with us!!!

A true warrior lost. Thank you for your legacy of proactive love for our world Dr Jane Goodall

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Jane Goodall.

Jane was a remarkable conservationist who inspired so many people around the world with her messages of hope and the power of everyone to make an impact for conservation.

Rhinos, like so many species, greatly benefited from the awareness and urgency Jane helped to ignite. Jane’s legacy lives on and we will carry her spirit and messages forwards in conserving rhinos and their landscapes. RIP
