It is not customary for me to rant on social media but I feel the need to put this out there tonight in the hope that I either attract the perpetrator or warn other suppliers against this possibly happening to them.

Early last week, a client by the name of Vanessa contacted me via WhatsApp, she was in need of a stage bikini. I had seen a similar item advertised so it was a no brainer for me to send the client pictures sizing and pricing. She immediately said she is interested in the said item on which I responded, make payment and send me proof of payment. Which she did. However she banks with Thyme Bank and I with Nedbank. I went ahead and purchased the other bikini which arrived 2 days later. Once it arrived I replaced some embelishments which had dislodged, cleaned it up, packaged it and sent it off to the client.

later the day I made other online payments and noticed that the said amount was not reflecting in my account as yet. I scrolled through my account just to see that the amount had been credited to my account but almost immediately thereafter debited again as well.

I immediately tried to reach the client via WhatsApp only to notice that there was no longer a profile picture and neither were my messages going through. I attemped calling but those were not going through either. I then phoned the bank just to find out that the amount was reversed.

Unfortunateley I only have a first name no address as its being delivered to a retail store.

Venessa from Kimberley I just want to tell you this. You managed to con me but be rest assured that I will hunt you down if that is the last thing I do, not because I am desperate for money but purely because people like you belong behind bars. In my eyes you are the lowest form of scum.

PS the store in Kimberley is aware of what has transpired and will obviously get a copy of her ID when she collects. I am hoping that she doesnt claim the item so it can be returned to me.
