Merry Christmas ❤️
My heart keeps returning to Jesus today. Not the way we see Him in Christmas cards, but the real Jesus. The baby who entered the world quietly. The Savior who chose to begin His story in the arms of a young mother and under the watch of a humble father. The King who arrived with no crown, only love.
I imagine that night in Bethlehem. The stillness. The hope. The presence of God wrapped in the smallest, softest form. A tiny heartbeat carrying the weight of heaven. A newborn cry that echoed a promise spoken long before we were ever born.
“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given.” Isaiah 9:6
Jesus came so close that night. Close enough for Mary to kiss His forehead. Close enough for Joseph to hold Him steady. Close enough for the world to finally breathe again. This is the part that moves me the most. The Savior of the world chose to come close. He chose to be with us.
As a mother, I feel that love in a different way now. When I hold my children, I am reminded of the way God chose tenderness to rescue us. Not power. Not noise. Just pure love entering the world as a baby who came to save us all.
If your heart feels heavy today or tired or stretched thin, I pray you feel His nearness. Jesus is still the Prince of Peace. He is still the Light that shines in every dark place. He is still the One who brings hope to those who feel worn down. He is the gift we never deserved and the love we could never earn.
My prayer for you this Christmas is simple.
May the presence of Jesus fill your home.
May His peace settle over you like a soft blanket.
May His joy lift your spirit in ways only He can.
May His love remind you that you are held, known and never alone.
From my heart to yours, may you feel Jesus deeply today.
Merry Christmas. ❤️
