*Living as Living Sacrifices*

*ROMANS 12:1*
_Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God this is your true and proper worship._

*REFLECTION*
Paul appeals to mercy, not obligation, when calling believers to offer their bodies as living sacrifices. This is worship that moves beyond a moment in a service into a daily, whole-life offering holy, pleasing, and reasonable given all God has done.

*REFLECTION ON ACTION*
Choose one practical way you spend your time or strength today, and dedicate it to God as an act of worship.

*PRAYER*
_Father, in view of Your mercy, I offer my whole self to You today as a living sacrifice. Let my life be true worship. In the name of Jesus._

*COLOSSIANS 3:17*
_And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him._

*REFLECTION*
Worship is not confined to song or Sunday; it is woven through every word and deed done in Jesus' name. When gratitude to the Father becomes the undercurrent of our ordinary tasks, life itself becomes an act of praise.

*REFLECTION ON ACTION*
As you go about today's tasks, pause once to consciously do that specific task ‘in the name of the Lord Jesus,’ giving thanks.

*PRAYER*
_Lord, let everything I say and do today be done in Your name, with a thankful heart toward the Father. In the name of Jesus._
