A disturbing attempt at disinformation has come to light, where the Zimbabwean government allegedly offered South African influencers substantial sums to tarnish the reputation of war veteran Blessed "Bombshell" Geza. However, the plan backfired as many influencers rejected the offer, while others returned the payment after discovering Geza's true character.
This calculated move raises questions about the Zimbabwean government's tactics and their willingness to compromise ethical standards. A stern warning has been issued to the government: any actions resulting in harm to individuals in South Africa, or even accusations thereof, could severely strain bilateral relations. A precedent exists, and the consequences would be substantial.
This incident echoes the manipulative strategies often employed by ZANUPF. The resilience of South African influencers in refusing to be swayed by financial incentives is commendable. By rejecting this corrupt approach, they have upheld their integrity and resisted being used as propaganda tools by the Zimbabwean regime.
