Charlotte stopped before the old rusty gate of their old home with teary eyes ,she stared at the house that seemed as if it was abandoned for ages.Her shaky hand gripped the gate and she pushed it open,it creaked as it opened and she stepped inside slowly,the usual loud neighborhood was quiet today with no dogs barking,no neighbors swearing at each other and no loud music blasting from the old man's house next door
A familiar reek of cigarette hit her nostrils and she turned her head slightly to where the smell came from and she spotted that same old man smoking at the balcony, he was quietly seated and puffing out a cloud of smoke,she waved but he just stared at her for a minute before looking ahead
Charlotte sighed and walked up the mini stairs leading up the porch,she reached for the flowerpot down next to the door and tipped it slightly revealing a key under,she took it and unlocked the door
The smell of dust filled her nostrils as she pushed the door open and she closed it back, she would rather endure the smell of dust than having those nosy neighbors come snooping
As she walked up the stairs ,the staircases creaked,reminding her of all the times she promised herself she would have them fixed in one of the days,she reached the hallway and passed by Zack's old roomโher heart started to feel heavy and it felt like it was bursting and she stopped and rubbed her chest as if it might soothe the ache but a second into it she felt like she might hurl or scream
She walked by Zoey's and she ran her fingers over the door,she wasn't willing to open any of their rooms because she couldn't bare to see the abandoned rooms that once were the safe spaces of her siblings and they carried so many memories but who was she kidding,the laughter,screams and voices together with their footsteps and doors shutting were already playing in her head over and over again and that made her feel as if her heart was being clawed and crushed
She finally reached her room and she mustered all the courage she could and pushed the door open,the once neat and well arranged room with a scent of lavender hanging in the air and a cool zephyr blowing through the curtains was now replaced with a cold one,untidy with cobwebs hanging in the corners and smelling of dust
The sight was too much to bear,she felt like she wasn't in control anymore, like she was a failure,she failed to take care of her home,her siblings and now her marriage and dignity together with her self control
She stepped in fully into her room and walked to the windows and opened them all and did the only thing that always made her feel like she was in controlโcleaning
She went downstairs and took the broom and duster and went back to her room to clean,her mind shut everything out as she focused on sweeping and dusting her old tiny room..some moments later she rushed back downstairs to fill a bucket with water and took a sponge and went back up
She knelt and scrubbed the stains on the floor,one stain however, was stubborn and she scrubbed snd scrubbed but it didn't budge, she paused and stared at it,anger bursting through her and she went back to scrubbing.All the memories from earlier came rushing back like a storm and she scrubbed harder as if it might make everything go away but nothing! Her chest tightened and she heaved and wheezed
A sob escaped her mouth and that's all it took for her to break downโall the hurt,anger and pain came rushing back as she let it all out
A moment later a pair of hands gripped her shoulders and pulled her up ,she didn't resist โgod knows she didn't have the strength for that
She turned and collided with a chest and her hands wrapped around the person,a familiar scent hit her and she didn't need to look up to see who it is
"I believe you,I'm sorry I wasn't there on time,I'm so sorry my love" Theodore whispered as he held her so tight while she soaked his shirt with her hot tears
"I'm sorry ,I didn't mean to hu..hurt her I thoughtโI thought i was doing the right thing!" She choked out
"You were,you were" he kissed her forehead and rubbed her back "I'm sorry"
Charlotte slowly looked up at him with her puffy eyes
"You believe me? She looked at him in surprise
"I do" he brushed her hair and tucked a few strands behind her ear "I followed you here,just to make sure you're safe and when I saw you get in I went back to get the footage of all the wards for today but one of the wards footage was missing"
"Missing?"
"The footage was deleted and the security in charge for the morning shift left moments after the incident,apparently he had a family emergency but I don't buy it"
"So that means someone must've paid him to destroy the footage..butโ"
"Xander must've done,he has a valid reason after all but that doesn't matter,I believe you regardless " Theodore circled a thumb across her cheek
"The damage is already done,Everyone sees me at fault and I..I caused Tiffany's condition..I can't go back" she turned away from him
"Hey.." Theodore grabbed her shoulders and kissed her back gently "Everyone's just worked up right now,i believe you and I trust that you would never hurt anybody on purpose and that should be enough" he hugged her from behind "We'll go back home you and I and I will never leave your side,I promise you"
Charlotte slowly turned to him and they stared at each other
"I need you to promise me that you'll only focus on your studies from now on and leave everything to me my love" he held her cheek
"I promise" she whispered
"Good girl" he leaned closer and kissed her "good girl" Theodore purred and pulled her closerโdeeping the kiss
Charlotte kissed him back and instinctively took a step back
"Let me make you feel better" he whispered into her mouthโhis voice muffled
He took a step forward and she stepped back till she reached the foot of her bed and fell on it pulling him down with her
Theodore hovered over Charlotte as he trailed warm kisses down her neck,her soft moans driving him over the edge and he felt his hard-on press against his trouser begging to be let free
His hands snaked under her dress and gripped her thighs,he forced her legs open and settled between her legs,his bulge pressing against her core
Charlotte's hands dug into his hair as he took off her pant and lifted her dress up,his cold fingers brushing against her skin giving her goosebumps, she yanked her waist up,letting the dress slip up as he took it off and threw it across the room landing carelessly on the floor
He paused and sat up,his hands reached for his shirt and he unbuttoned it slowlyโteasing Charlotte who couldn't stop touching herself,when he was done he went to his trouser and when he was about to undo the belt Charlotte stopped him and knelt before him on the bed,she unbuckled the belt herself with shaky hands and pulled it down, his v-line appeared followed by his manhood that stood like a wood ,she paused
"Go on" Theodore brushed her hair back and stared at her intensily
Charlotte held it and brought her mouth closer before taking him in,her orbs moving up and stared at him through her eyelids
She sucked,plunging it in and out in a rhythm and watched as a moanโalmost like a grunt escape his lips and he threw his head back

Her walls expanded and contracted,adjusting to his size and tightening like a glove around his manhood pulling him deeper and driving him insane

"I'll be there soon" he said to the person on the other end after listening to whatever they said and hung up
"Who is it?" Charlotte sat up while covering her chest with her arms
"Roberto..Tiffany is awake,she's fine,just pregnant " he wore his clothes " the shock of what you said to her must've peeked up her pregnancy hormones that's why she collapsed "
"She's pregnant?" Charlotte stared at him in shock
"Yeah,they didn't know till now so it makes sense,I have to go back there" he said as she buttoned his shirt
"I'm coming with you" Charlotte quickly got off the bed and picked up her dress
"No,i need you to go home and catch up on your studies my love I'll take you home" he gave her s serious look
"Butโ"
"We talked about this" he cut her off "Tiffany's fine and that should ease your mind,we'll deal with this later..now please let me take you home
Charlotte knew he wasn't going to change his mind and she nodded and proceeded to get dressed.When she was done Theodore pecked her forehead and took her to the car and they drove to the royal house
He dropped her off and drove to the hospital,when he arrived the paparazzi was still flocking outside and he just passed through without giving them any attention even though they tried to ambush him
He headed straight to his grandfather's ward to find him with Queen Amber
"Your highness " he bowed slightly when he walked in
"Where's your wife?" King Liam questioned
"I took her home,she's not feeling well " he stood on the other side of the bed,opposite to his mother who scoffed
"Now she's the victim after what she's done" Queen Amber muttered under her breath but they both heared her clearly
"My wife is telling the truth and I trust her,the other thing making whatever she said even more true is the fact that the footage of the very ward she saw your son making out with a maid in ,has been tempered with..now excuse me" he turned and left and slammed the door on his way out
"What did you do?" The king turned sharply to Amber
"Father" Queen Amber turned to the king " I only defended my son from that girl,she was questioning his character and I did my duty as a mother"
"She's your daughter too! Blood or not we are family now and Tiffany is also your daughter and she's caught in the middle of this mess you are not supposed to take sides !!" The king shouted and coughed
Amber tried to touch him but he yanked his arm away
"Father I โ"
"Charlotte has the purest heart and she has been fighting for her place in this family! She walked through the right path to be a part of the family and she still tries to prove it today that she belongs here! Unlike you who sneaked her way into this family!"
"Father I thought we were past that" Amber said through gritted teeth
"I will never forget how you betrayed my son just to stay in this family! And I need you to remember that you are also just a daughter in law,learn your place!" The king pointed at her "if I find out you knew and had something to do with thisโ"
"I do not! Iโ"
"GET OUT!" He screamed and she flinched before rushing out
Queen Amber marched down the hall and held up her dress since it made it hard for her to move quickly,she turned a corner and bumped into Xander
"Momโ" she didn't let him finish and dragged him upstairs to the rooftop
"Tell me,when did it start?" She screamed in his face as soon as they were at the rooftop
"Motherโ"
"Tell me!" She raised her hand midwayโwanting to slap him silly
"I'm sorry mom!" He flinched ans stepped back
"You will leave her!" End it now!"
"She's pregnant,I wanted to stop but she told me she's expecting mom" Xander's voice broke as he spoke
"You fool!" Queen Amber slapped him hard
Both her palm and his cheek stung from the impact
