💰 Salary: From $3,000 USD/month (negotiable for the right candidate)
A prestigious private palace is seeking an experienced, highly skilled and hands-on Maintenance Manager to take responsibility for the general maintenance and upkeep of the property.
The palace is an older property with ongoing maintenance requirements, particularly relating to electrical wiring and plumbing, so we are looking for someone who is genuinely experienced and capable of handling a wide variety of maintenance tasks.
🔧 *THE IDEAL CANDIDATE*
We are looking for a true “jack of all trades” who is confident working with their hands and can troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently.
*Requirements:*
* Strong experience in general property/building maintenance
* Electrical experience and qualifications preferred
* Plumbing experience and qualifications preferred
* Strong knowledge of electrical wiring and fault finding
* Plumbing repairs and maintenance
* General handyman, carpentry, painting and repair skills
* Ability to troubleshoot problems and find practical solutions
* Able to work independently and take initiative
* Hardworking, reliable and hands-on
* Not afraid to get dirty or tackle difficult jobs
* Physically fit and comfortable with practical work
* Flexible and willing to assist with different maintenance requirements
* High attention to safety and quality
* Previous experience working in a large private household, palace, estate, hotel or similar environment is an advantage
👑 *WORKING ENVIRONMENT*
The successful candidate must be comfortable working within a fully staffed private household with employees from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds.
You must be:
* Respectful and professional
* Flexible and adaptable
* Able to work well as part of a large team
* Discreet and respectful of the privacy of the household
* Comfortable following household protocols and management structures
🕐 *WORKING HOURS*
12 hours per day + breaks
6 days per week
