Firstly Happy New Year, wishing you all the best this year ✨

Secondly, during my festive break it was either me doing crochet or a puzzle. Great way to unwind. Finishing the puzzle on Thursday gave the energy to want to finish my crochet project. Let’s see how long the boost of energy lasts 😂.

KITCHEN CUPBOARD MAKEOVER | This was previously a TV stand (I’ll try find the original picture of it). It’s been in the family since I was like a baby. We painted it black previously (last frame) so as to match the previous black and brown theme my mom chose in the old house. And now we have taken it back to its original colour and it now forms part of the kitchen. I was supposed to paint this but my mom was like nope, you’re wasting my time 😂. Although she said she was “helping me”. We’re planning to put shelves where the picnic basket is to display plates and stuff.

THRIFTED KITCHEN | Here are some stills of my parent’s thrifted kitchen. Still some work to do, but so far the progress has been great. My favourite part of the kitchen is definitely the stove alcove and I think it will be like that forever 🤭.

I still have to paint the two self standing cupboards (cream and black one)😩. I think I need a spray gun 🥲 otherwise I’m going to fall over from all this painting.

THRIFT FIND | Thrifted these cuties yesterday for the restaurant renovation ❤️ they’re soo fun. I think I may be addicted to thrifting 💀💀. They were R250 each, don’t tell my mom 💀 in retrospect I think they were too much but we learn.
