Nono Communications’ presence at the 2024 Women in Business Conference and the 2025 U.S. Consulate General Johannesburg Networking Session created platforms to shape dialogue and exchange ideas on both local and global leadership.

Bontle is the founder of two national companies:

For three consecutive years, this time of the year, Nono Communications has proudly participated in the Empower Her Business Seminar, hosted by the Nomzamo Lighthouse Foundation in partnership with . Each year has been a pivotal milestone, offering access to valuable information, practical tools, and meaningful conversations that move the needle forward for women in business.

The seminar has provided a platform with opportunities to expand networks, engage in inclusive dialogue, and gain insights that strengthen our approach to empowering women through entrepreneurship and innovation.

Through 3 years consistent participation, Nono Communications has become a familiar face at the seminar, a reflection of our commitment to nurture relationships, networks, growth and innovation for dialogue. As Nono Communications approaches its third anniversary, we proudly reflect on our journey ON THE GROUND and the work we’ve put in getting the agency’s visibility offline.

We stand strong in our vision to build digital wealth for independent corporations, NGOs, and institutions in the film and television industry.

‘ON THE GROUND’ highlights our participation in a major business exhibition at the Sandton Convention Center, an event that attracts thousands of decision-makers and business professionals. Over two days, we engaged with a diverse and influential audience, generating valuable leads and successfully introducing Nono Communications to the market. This exhibition remains one of our valuable business participation as it also proves lasting connections beyond the event floor.

Working on the ground and in the streets to create wealth for our clients, one connection at a time is a venture we continue to be passionate about.

Greetings in the new year entrepreneurs 💕

We hope you have had a joyous and fulfilling festive season with family and friends.

James Baldwin’s piece titled Letter from a Region in My Mind is a convoy to the digital disruption that continues to take shape. He writes, ‘I suppose that I would like to become myself, whatever that may mean, but I knew that Elijah’s meaning and mine were not the same. I said yes, I was trying to be me, but I did not know how to say more than that, and so I waited.’ This very personal passage published in 1962s The New Yorker offers an expression that is extremely vital in modern day society. The age of Brand is just as personal to your clients as is the story to the writer’s audience. When I sat on reading the 12 page essay, I thought about our digital age and its importance to impact and transform our businesses, and the community it builds through presence.

The digital trends growing in 2023 will continue to be innovative in helping businesses access to tools that build on sales, communications and at large connection. I’m thrilled for us to work together.

Here are some questions to think about:

How am I liberating my hopes if not inviting the digital space as part of your brand marketing and communications?

What brand meaning is my business’s brand living up to this year and after?

Is my brand telling a story that is resonant and relevant?
