meet Samson C. Chambala. 🌍
born in matola, mozambique and raised in johannesburg, Samson’s work asks the questions this city has always asked of its arrivals: who are you here, and where do you belong? working in acrylics, textiles, and found materials, he builds layered compositions that hold migration, identity, and the fractured idea of home with extraordinary beauty. influenced by kerry james marshall, gerard sekoto, and blessing ngobeni. voice entirely his own.
