The story behind “Kill Cass” 🎶
‎
‎Cass is my brother, my hommie, and the whole reason behind the name. I wanted to bring shine to him and let the world know I didn’t do this alone. This album is a true masterpiece—at first it was supposed to be just an EP, but the beats kept coming and I couldn’t stop writing.
‎
‎I put my all into this project. Not to brag, not for sympathy, but for me—to feel good about myself, to do something I truly love, and to do it the way I love it. This is the best music I’ve ever written. Some of it is the realest s**t I’ve ever said, some of it is capped ‘cause creativity takes you places 😂 … but it’s all me.

‎I’m enjoying every second of this album, and if you end up enjoying it too, then that’s even better.

Meet Darren Ritchie aka , a rising producer and artist hailing from the windy streets of Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth), South Africa. Born on June 23, 2000, his love for music began in his primary school choir and grew into a lifelong passion fueled by raw talent, experimentation, and a deep spiritual connection to sound.

💽 Starting around 2018/2019, he taught himself how to make beats using FL Studio, developing a unique sound blending underground trap, ambient textures, and choir-inspired melodies. Darren isn’t just another trap artist — he’s a sonic explorer creating original vibes that reflect real-life experiences.
