The 2027 SAMRO Music Creation Support Fund (MCSF) is now accepting applications from eligible Full and Associate Members.

With R3 million committed to supporting 120 music creators, successful applicants can receive up to R25,000 to develop new, original works with the potential to generate royalties, whether it’s a single, album, composition, score or music video.

📅 Applications are open from 01–30 September 2026, closing at 17h00.

Full and Associate Members should check their emails for eligibility criteria and application details.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of South Africa and Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Jayden Adams at the age of 25.

Jayden had recently represented his country at the FIFA World Cup, marking a proud moment in a life and career cut tragically short.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, team-mates and all those who knew him. May he rest in peace.
